This can lead to a loss of central vision, while leaving peripheral vision usually intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\" class=\"translation-block\">There are two forms, the \u2018dry\u2019 form and the \u2018wet\u2019 form, both of which have the same impact on vision, but develop at different rates. To stop and improve visual acuity, there are treatments using <strong>intra vitreous injection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">In industrialised countries, AMD is the leading cause of vision loss in people over 60. The prevalence of AMD increases with age, affecting one in 3 people over 75.
